We’re January Coffee! We’re a little independent cafe run by folks who aim to create an inclusive and welcoming environment for our community whilst serving up delicious coffee and food. Our goal is to make specialty coffee unpretentious and accessible because great coffee is for everyone! We take coffee and quality seriously, but good vibes are a top priority. We are now hiring for full-time and part-time positions and are currently prioritizing applicants with food prep and/or shift lead experience. Only applicants with a minimum of 1 year food service or barista experience will be considered at this time. Flexible scheduling 3-5 shifts/week (3 shifts minimum, 4 for shift leads). Our operating hours are Monday-Friday from 7am-4pm and Saturday/Sunday from 8am-4pm. Starting introductory training wage is $13.80/hr + tips with incremental pay increases based on cross-training into each available role: bar = $14.25/hr, kitchen = $14.75/hr, shift lead = $15.25-$16 (D.O.E.). Tips are pooled amongst all staff based on hours worked and average an additional $10-12/hr.

Qualifications:

• You have at least 1 year of coffee/barista experience (preferred) or relevant food/customer service experience (required) 

• You can hustle, work well under pressure, and thrive in a fast-paced environment 

• You have excellent people and communication skills

• You are kind, compassionate, and humble

• You have an enthusiasm for food, beverages, and hospitality 

• You have a desire to learn and gain knowledge about coffee and tea!
